Zoya Opal and Shawn

Hey everyone! Tonight I've got some Zoya beauties for you. I was completely in love with this manicure which is why there are so many pictures!

Base coat: 1 coat of CND Stickey
Polish: 2 coats of Shawn, 1 coat of Opal
Top coat: 1 coat of Seche Vite

This combination of blue and green is enough to make a girl like me swoon. So gorgeous!
Zoya describes Shawn as a "warm, mossy yellow-toned medium green cream with olive undertones". Can I just say that Shawn is one of my favorite greens ever? Perhaps even one of my favorite polishes ever?!?! It is the perfect shade of forest green. It's dark but not in your face and still very noticeably green. LOVE LOVE LOVE.

Opal is described as "a sheer green base with reflective Mylar flakes that shift from bright green to blue." Both descriptions are very accurate. These polishes are amazing together and both were easy to work with.

I think I'm all out of words for this lovely combination.

Shawn was purchased by me last year in the spring, I won Opal in a contest. Both polishes can be purchased here.

(Also, you might have noticed I gave my blog a makeover. I'm very new to photoshop, blogging, and HTML so it's definitely a work in progress.)

  1. I'm not huge fan of flakies but these polishes work beautifully together.

    1. You're the first person I've read to not be a fan of flakies...interesting! I'm glad you still think it's pretty though :)

  3. Perfect combination! I did a similar manicure a couple months ago, using Zoya Shawn as a base, but layering a different flakie (SH Hidden Treasure) overtop. Next time I'll try this!
